Regarding "Digital by Qualcomm" and Nokia phones. A client was in my office on Saturday and she set her Nokia phone on the desk. It had "Digital by Qualcomm" stenciled on the top. The phone was not a new model; it was one of their first CDMA phones and looked to be identical to the old TDMA Nokia that I bought about 3 or four years ago. As I recall, that CDMA model Nokia phone used the Nokia chip. Hence, I believe that Qualcomm inside refers to the technology and not the chip.

Digital by Qualcomm is required for every patent licensee, no matter how they chose to implement it. I assume there will be a "Digital by Qualcomm" label on all Ericson phones made.
