Industry Influencers and Business Leaders
Will Go to The Most Successful Bidders

If you have ever dreamed of getting your business plan reviewed, meeting face-to-face with a venture capitalist or exchanging ideas with today's movers and shakers, look no further than Yahoo!(R) Auctions (http://auctions.yahoo.com). Schools Online (www.schoolsonline.org) and Yahoo! Auctions now give aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders a rare and unique auction opportunity.
Beginning today, people can participate in the "Auction for Access," hosted Yahoo! Auctions, a leading person-to-person interactive commerce adventure. Sponsored as a benefit for Schools Online, successful bidders will receive private consultations with high-profile technology industry leaders and pioneers. Schools Online is dedicated to ensuring that all schools have effective access to the communication and information resources of the Internet.

"We believe the Web is a valuable tool for education and Yahoo! Auctions offers us a dedicated forum to positively extend our vision: to connect the world - one school at a time," said Touraj Rahimi, President, Schools Online. "By bringing together some of today's most influential leaders in business and technology in a fun and engaging environment, we can promote business opportunity and community, encourage the exchange of ideas and help lay the foundation for tomorrow's business leaders."

"Since Yahoo! began, we have been dedicated to helping people find and connect with others as well as to providing access to information," noted Susan Carls, senior producer, Yahoo! Auctions. "By joining efforts with Schools Online, we can further this goal by connecting aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders with the fundamental resources and industry influencers they need to become successful in business. Through Yahoo! Charity Auctions, we hope to empower people to achieve not only their own goals, but also help raise awareness and ensure access to the Web as well as to the valuable education platform and community of support it offers."

How to Succeed In Business...

The "Auction for Access" will feature two online auction categories. The first auction, which kicks off today, will offer four Internet entrepreneurs that online bidders can vie for in an engaging and adrenaline-filled environment. This auction runs through April 13, 1999. The second auction offers people a chance to bid on four computer technology entrepreneurs and runs from April 14 though April 27, 1999. Winning bids are 100 percent tax deductible and all proceeds from the "Auction for Access" will benefit Schools Online.
Successful winners receive a private consultation. Each consultation will be one half-hour in length and may be used to review new companies, technologies or business ventures. Individuals donating their time for this worthy endeavor include: Mike Moritz, Kamran Elahian, Alex Balkanski, Bob Jones, Dado Banatao, John Gage, John McHugh, and Lip-Bu Tan.

Fred, Cube's PR can state that they have found the lost city of Atlantis, but until they show revenue growth, the Street won't hear them.

As Fahnestock recently stated, this is "unexciting growth in a world coverting to digital."
