John, your strategy might not be bad. If Philips drops their offer the stock will retreat though I don't know how far maybe 14-15. I think the BOD is hard pressed to hold out for $30. That would be a nearly 200% premium to what the shares were trading pre-offer and take major cajones to try. The only real way to pull that off is to have another offer in the wings which gets you there or to be able to demonstrate fundamentals much greater than I think they can (unless they have a real rabbit in the hat). All things considered, I think they sell out in mid 20s to somebody (75% Prob), don't sell out and stock drops to 15 then recovers to low to mid 20s within 6 mos. (15%) and they don't sell out stock drops to 14-15 fundamentals don't support and then back to 12 with myriad of shareholder suits (10%). I am along for the ride- but this is an easy call for me cause I made more than I deserve on March and June calls which have been closed.
