Still don't understand what Netscape had to do with it -- how does a browser screw with your display settings?

JW - Better change that sign you're wearing - you just solved my problem! I just switched to iMAC and AOL from Win95 and Netscape and couldn't figure out why the fonts on internet sites like SI were so tiny - I thought maybe I needed bifocals - getting to that age! - then you mentioned your monitor resolution and bingo - pumped mine up to 640 X 480 Hz and now I can read without squinting - I had thought it was some sort of AOL or iMAC default font! Well, I'm still on the upward slope of the learning curve when it comes to computers and sometimes it's the simple little things that really stumps me!!! Thanks CJ
