MR, MONTAL: Your Honor, I'd like to renew the motion
   19       on the order to show cause.
   20                        THE COURT: Well, I'm not going to grant the order to
   21       show cause. I told you that to begin with. And if you think
   22       what has been taken today relates to what's pending before the
   23       Court, address it. I've taken the information. If you wish
   24       then to renew the motion and address those issues, fine. But
   25       I'm not going to enter an order to show cause today. I don't

  1        think anybody's going to disappear. If there's been a perjury
  2        I intend to pursue that. On the other hand if this has been a
  3        wasteful exercise I may impose a sanction.
  4                          MR. LANDISH: It has been --
  5                          MR. MONTAL: I understand that, your Honor, and I
  6        don't believe that it was that at all. We would not have made
  7        these allegations.
  8                          THE COURT: Well, I understand. I think you probably
  9        are acting in good faith. But I'm not going to muddy this
  10       whole process with a contempt proceeding in the middle of this
  11       procedure. There'll be time for that sometime later if it
  12       relates to this as I think it was suggested then I'll let you
  13       add that to --
