Dave, I don't think MM's pay any attention to news. They have too many stocks to watch and all they manage is the spread. If they sell too many shares, who cares, in their minds what goes up will eventually come down and they'll get even again. Usually MM's can hold out even if a stock goes up.... only when a stock really breaks out to the extent that they catch hell from their line of credit or margin account, do they start to panic.

We all have seen stocks that go up quickly only to settle down and back track the gap. Same thing with GKI and EINI, neither has sustained their rally. I hope CAGI is different, otherwise, the rally will be met with a big fat YAWN !

I never believe the stories about large short positions etc-most of the time it is just talk<IMO>.
