mitchell is clearly a 500 qb, hot and cold weeks. mitchell for a 3rd round pick i think is a steal. for one, the current qb's raise doubts. mitchell has had plenty of time to rest, and he has the experience, but does he have the desire after last season? story developing.....

Don't worry, I'll be here posting my picks. It'll be a little tougher, though. Last year, I had the advantage of my home team's lines being grossly distorted every week due to the disbelieving public. I'm looking forward to beating the Niners on MNF in Week 17. <g>

I'm eagerly awaiting the 1999 season win total over/unders. Looking at the current lines, my favorite pick is to give the 10-1 odds that Dallas will win the NFC Championship, though I guess you need to be a bookie to do this.

Seattle got more picks by going from 17 to 22 in round 1. They drafted Huard... this guy was once said to be the best out of all of the QBs who've gone through there (UofW) the last 10 years. He had some problems in his senior year but there were also dropped passes and lack of a deep receiver.

Seattle could have 2 or 3 quality QBs in the future. Is Foley any good?

Trading for more picks was a great move.
