Most of the starving is due to civil wars and to government oppression. Examples are Sudan and North Korea.

You've been reading too many socialist newspapers,,,, don't believe anything they have to say about food production. Most all food products are lower now then they have ever been<<adjusted for inflation>>.. Whole live hogs are selling for 45$ here in michigan. Last years corn brought only 1.60. There is too much production in the market place, and with the technological advancements I would guess that prices, over the long term, will continue to fall. Do you see any farmers making big bucks????? NO. why? If corn were bringing 5-6 bucks you may have a point. But it isn't, hasn't and won't for a long long long time. Too much land, too much food, too much technology.... Your statement is completely false.
