Reminds me a bit of the PDX activity (when the options, especially the put volume jumped 2 days before the big dive to $30).

I suspect the puts on CDN were a hedge. I remember buying some calls on RATL after someone bought a ton of them. The calls expired worthless. Of course, if I had bought RATL and held it, I would have eventually doubled my money...
