I do use stops all the time

I wish you luck with them, George. I discussed using them 6 months ago on the softy thread and got about 20 horror stories posted by experienced people who had got burned using them.

Hi George,

I probably deal in stocks similar to you, being my avg. hold is about 10 days. With that said, the q is my ONLY long term hold, and yes it has done the straight up thing. One item about straight up moves is no one knows when/where they stop. You never know until it happens, then hope to get out on a bounce back up.

With all that said, I am still holding the Q, and will do so until I see the end....and the end will come, but when? I for one appreciate contrarian opinions. If you will, please comment, especially on when you think the top has come.

This is all fun stuff while you are winning, and most of the folks are winning here after a very very long dry spell. Let them party for awhile!!
