I agree that some advertising is helpful to a company like Sun, which really has trouble defining itself to investors and to the public. However, everyone who needs to know Cisco, already knows Cisco (investors and customers), and wide scale advertising is a huge expense with little payoff. IMO, Cisco already has more mindshare of the investing public than virtually any other technology company out there. Anyway, you're not going to get Grandma Smith to sell AT&T and invest in Cisco today, and an ad buy during "Kissed by an Angel" is not going to change her mind.
