IMO good stocks will always be "expensive" in a short term sense, but that shouldn't deter one from investing based on one's own criteria. I have to admit I usually book at least half my position at 50+%, (with a few exceptions), your nerves are steadier than mine! CSCO looks to be a very good long, it's been basing for about 5 weeks and looks to be resuming its normal slow steady climb to and past earnings, at which time they'll likely split again.
I think anyone who invests and particularly very active and/or day traders who don't have a money management system ARE playing the lottery. I'm actually a pretty conservative investor! Regards and aloha.
