I look forward to feedback such as yours. Yes, you do provide me with some good ideas to think about. I tend to examine the market closely at its junctures. This can support what you are saying about how the patterns in sentiment can change after the market has chosen its direction. This pattern of sentiment that I have noticed can help explain the volatility in the market, even though I know there are other factors at work. I do agree that the breakout of an index like the DJIA would represent the efforts of more serious money.
