IMHO I don't foresee VLSI tanking below $ 19 even after earnings on 4-19-99. It will be a real coup if VLSI can get another big order between now and 4-19-99, beat street estimates on 4-19-99. Then Philips $ 17 is dead for good! Then if I were Al Stien, I wouldn't sell to Philips for any price! The dog days are over for VLSI and in fact for most Chip companies. It is a climb from here on! Intel zoomed 6 points today! But it is Yahoo that made my day, with its incredible 40 point climb!
