Something mentioned in Dain Rauscher Wessels report of interest: Wessels report dated 3/15/99 mentions that pairgain is looking at the possibility of spinning off their internal microelectronics (chip designers) group. I guess this would be similar to the conexant spinoff from Rockwell.
