Vendit, Whew, another day in Aolville. What can we say ? Ya know, I almost sold a couple hundred shares about 3:30, $161 or so.........I kept typing it in, staring at it, until it timed out. Type it again.....stare...and so on. I just couldn't do it. With this huge recent run-up, I figured I would take advantage of some nice profits, and clear up my margin, and a little credit card debt. Then, I came to my senses and remembered my goal of trying to acquire as much AOL as possible, and well, I closed E-trade down and didn't sell. What are your thoughts on this recent run-up as far as if it will hold, continue and/or etc....I really figured $130 and stay sideways for a little while, then a little pop before earnings, but damn, this stock just fools me more and more every single day. Do we see maybe $180 in the cards for earnings and a 2 for 1 ( with shareholder approval, of course <ggg> ) split, or are we gonna see some profit taking and a dip or sideways movement ? Also, what are your views on the market in general....everybody is so giddy about fantastic economy and etc, but I tell ya, this market is being carried by a select few.......How long can it last ? I tend to be a bull and always have..if there is moiney being made, it will be put into the market. If it's put in the market, the AOL's will get their share....but this is a scary market to figure....Y2K around the corner.....I don't think the Y2K problems will be bad, but I think the panic will be. I think everybody is sitting around wondering what everybody else will do. Even my wife the other day said maybe we'd " be better safe then sorry " and pull some funds.......I told her not to worry...if things do get hit, the smart money will roll right back into the AOL's as soon as people realize Y2K is not that big a deal...but she still got me thinking. As I said, we are not exactly stocking up on ammo and boarding the windows...I think the Y2K problems will be dealt with accordingly...but can't help but wonder what everybody else is thinking. ALOT of money has been made by alot of people...can't help but wonder how many people will " be better safe then sorry ". Anyway.....Your opinion is second to none, in my book. If we had an AOL President here in Sunny Aolville, you'd certainly get my vote Thanks for your always humble, and normally correct opinions. KG
