Hey there folks... WOW what a day!! Yahoo up 39... Aol up 16!!!!!!! I hate to be a wise cracking, Mr. "look what I said " kind of guy but hear me out for one second here... I hate self aggrandizing ways but here goes... Please read posts # 2688 and 2706 Those posts represent some views which, especially after today, can't be ignored... in my opinion of course!! AOL is a gorilla as we all know and yahoo is #2 in content as we all know... THey will continue to light the Mkt. Cap way and in my opinion this can only help GNET shareholders!!! Think about what is said in those posts mentioned above... Mr. Horowitz specifically referenced AOL and YAHOO as the market leaders of which he and Mr. Allen hoped to join... Now for a reality check --- I know it will not happen overnight.... and I know to say this staement by Mr. Horowitz is an obvious desire by all content providers... BUT - Now Go2Net has the firepower to REALLY make steps to aggresively go after this goal! The higher these two companies raise the bar... the more headroom there is for other companies to be rewarded ... if they execute and focus! Go2net has definitely displayed these traits for 2 years ( on a shoestring ) REMEMBER ... You have a quiet period going on here and alot of people chasing the hot issues elsewhere!!! I have a feeling there will be significant news to go along with earnings later this month after this tender offer is complete!!!!! Good luck and don't be one of those that says in a month ... "I got nervous at 125 and bailed last month ... but I am sticking in it for the long haul now ... in at 195!! " As always this is just one dummies opinion of many and I wish you the best!!! JMHO!!!
