Fore, which manufactures ATM switches for corporations and telephone carriers, saw its stock rise 1 3/16 to 21 3/4. The company has long been the subject of buyout speculation, if only because it has taken a backseat to other ATM switch companies. April 22 1/2 calls gained 3/16 ($18.75) to 1 9/16 ($156.25) on decent volume of 1,086 contracts, compared with open interest of 5,797.
