That is an impressive number of associates. That puts Barnes&Noble about 1 year behind Amazon.com - not bad considering they were at ground zero a year ago. At this time last year Amazon had less than 100k associates. That number grew to over 150,000 by the summer. It certainly looks like Barnes number is catching up rather than falling behind.

I have noticed new software programs that are available that allow you to quickly register for and tract revenue from a number of associate programs. These offer both Amazon and Barnes. I have only looked into one of them very thoroughly. It allows you to keep the referral in your domain so that you get the full 15% associate commission instead of just a 5%-10% referral fee.
