The F can now be dropped by foreign companies, so they'd be foolish to use it; it has a negative connotation, being a 'foreign' stock.

Apparently the amendment to their filing for NASDAQ listing lists the ticker as BIDS, and several posts here last week indicated that it was apparent that has been assigned by NASDAQ for BID.COM's use...in spite of it being currently used by some other company.

Yes, I have seen BDCMF as well, but I believe in their Nasdaq application, they had BIDS listed. Maybe I'm wrong, this is just going from memory. Can anyone confirm? Given that the 'F' is no longer required, it is very likely that they will not use BDCMF.
