You Don't!
I read an excellent article yesterday.......the article said that the AOL CEO believes he has 2 years to create/obtain a broadband strategy.

Tech2000:

I hate the AOL service but I own the stock. I hated MSFT products 5 yrs ago but I bought the stock in 89. Sometimes an intimate knowledge of a product works against you. I do know this that a 70 year + grandmother in our church announced at evening service that she just got online with AOL last night. With respect to AOL their key facets are they that they have their own captive net and that net touches 20 mill. without even going to the internet. They could be bigger than AT &T in a few years. They might buy CBS tomorrow!? Don't limit them to the internet.

Tech: My kids flock to AIM and the purchase of When will put them in the community calendar business. Local boyscout troop, PTA, etc can put their schedules up on AOL and more eyeballs are drawn thereto They are doing all the right things.

OT AOL Tech...I agree..AOL service is awful (I have them on $4.95 a month plan as a backup when my university ISP ever so occasionally screws up). But hey...McDonalds hamburgers aren't that great either. But they're convenient and all over the place. Also, AOL interface is very user friendly, and eventually their service will get better as bandwith expands. I held out for a long time because I hated their service, but finally bought in--they're putting all the puzzle pieces together right
