jill....bid / ask size...a warrior princess would know this...

if you have a real time quote service you not only see the bid and ask price, but the bid and ask size, as in how many shares are being offered for sale at the asking price,(ask size) and how many orders are in to buy at the bidding price(bid size)...it is a dynamic number that changes rapidly, it indicates the orders on the specialists desk...every time dell reached 44, the ask number would swell, which indicates to me that sellers were moving in at that point...the buyers were moving in at 43.75....when one side dries up the stock stops see sawing and moves in the direction of least resistance...

44 appears to be a technical upside resistance...i felt confident for the past weeks that dell would move to 42-44, test 44, pull back, penetrate 44, move to 48...not that i believe in ta, but a whole lot do and computer trading programs use ta as parameters...a lot of short term trading stock bought in the 38-42 range selling against the chart at 44...need strong volume close tommorrow at 44+, and i think we are once again saved from the reaper man and the taunts of the less than human interlopers that appear on down days....
