Ian,

<<But I'm really doing a good job of learning to be patient.>>

I'll second that education.

I'm about semied out: AMAT, KLAC, NVLS, TER, UTEK, MTSN, PRIA, SFAM and ASYT. I'm stuffed and need the small caps to go up so I can start spitting them out. I'll probably hang on from here in all these positions for the full strength of the cycle before selling anything.
That may be the end of 2000 and it may be 2001. There's been a lot of suggestions as to how long this baby will go. 2002-3 anyone?

Rgds, D

I think we're in the same class.

I'm also enrolled in Watch-SFAM-Languish 101:-)

Ian: "Perhaps the street still thinks that the stepper/scanner makers have an inventory of lasers. If so, it's not an inventory of the latest lasers that their customers would accept."

Who knows what the street thinks if anything. Inventory issue was there when the stock was at $29 and change. Last time I checked a month ago, it was at 280 units and they wanted to see it down to 200. The 5000 upgrade kits were in the midst of being qualified for third quarter acceptance. So I would not read too much into it at this point. Institutions do not seem to be dumping.

But talk about weird:
