Jenna--I bought 100 shares of #8--Apr 15th earnings play--I noticed it has a small float and huge short position. Could there be a short squeeze in the making, if they report good earnings? Jan

BRCM:" Specialty chips find their niche" The networking chip market is heating up as consumers warm up to a lifestyle of cell phones, handheld PCs, and high-speed Internet access.
With revenue growth for PC chips slowing, communication chips have become the hottest growth area in the semiconductor market, analysts say.
A study by International Business Strategies shows the communications chip market will grow from $28.3 billion in revenue in 1998 to $90.4 billion in 2005. "The driving force is the increased demand for bandwidth in every aspect of communications." said Dataquest analyst Jeremy Donovan.
BRCM (among others) has quickly latched onto this fast-growing market.
