I had a really good idea. Maybe we could offer the POTUS and COTUS, throwing in the Supremes Court (with or without Diana Ross) and various governors (they can have ours in a second) as hostage guarantees. Then we could start over and the bulk of the problems would be theirs. We could even offer to feed the whole bunch of them for a year, using the farm surplus (Quick, Ma! Burn the grain silo!).
