Thanks much, Cyberslam. Locating SELB was part of the routine. Several weeks ago, I noticed that it jumped hard on a small amount of activity. . .so after seeing it had such a tiny float, I added it to a watch list.

I didn't pay much attention to it. But today I saw that it was up fairly sharply. . .still didn't pay it much attention. But when reviewing the news alerts, which I do every so often . . . I recognized the company name.

SIDEBAR: Usually I read my email with my delete key, due to getting a few hundred news articles sent daily. This allows me to scan the headlines of only those that hit one of my keywords.

When I saw the name and read the news.. I saw that the net income was up 5X over last quarter and that they appeared to be turning their company around. After seeing that the 52 week hi was 11 something and the price was near 5, immediately started watching the quotes. Each buy, no matter how small, gave it an uptick.

That was like striking gold. I knew it would just be a matter of time before it was picked up by daytraders, so I did not want to be left behind. I felt the downside risk was minimal, compared to the upside potential . . . which is an evaluation that should never stop ocurring on a momo.

I rarely post momos on the HOME thread. Generally only those with big potential and little downside risk.

Unfortunately, I am slow to the draw with momentums. And by the time I saw it hit 13.75 and called up the trading page, it had already hit 14.75 and was coming back down the other side. At that point, it was still gaining momentum and looked like it was setting up in the high 12s.

But then the volume got REALLY heavy and the stock didn't move. That is when I know I've overstayed my welcome and checked out the original principal. I really believe that it will run hard in the morning. . . perhaps to 25, unless there is bad news by company.

In no way am I saying that SELB is worth 25. . . and NOBODY from this thread should be getting into it at this late of a game, unless you have the very quickest trading station, or are very experienced in daytrading. I am not.
