Brumell,
As I said over the weekend, no news, either the company is doing on purpose to get cheap shares (I doubt with the good reputation that the Humes have) or they did not find the glory hole. I am also sitting on the sidelines until further notice, I prefer to pay more for something better defined than looking at the price eroding, so far my other holdings (MLM and SUB, CY and loaded more PXP (Poplar went up 50% over the past month quietly, this is an old dog that I had that looks like is waking up slowly...)) seem a better short term hold. Still have my powder ready for NWI when she is ready.

Brumell:
Good points made and understood. I agree with TomCat, but I will see what holes 17 and 18 have. Being in the industry, I like the geology. Thanks

Regards
G

Brumell:

I assume that the various rock types (e.g. pyroxenite) identified on the drill sections have been properly characterized by both hand sample and thin section study by the Nuinsco geologists and consultants. This being the case, then pyroxenite is part of the normal sequence of rocks found in a Ni-sulfide bearing intrusion. It forms by the sequential crystallizing of a pyroxene-rich (>90%) layer in a mafic intrusion according to Bowen's reaction series (Mg-Olivine>Mg-Pyroxene>Ca-Mg-Pyroxene>Amphiboles>Biotites>Quartz+Muscovite+feldspar). It is very unlikely that such a layer will be formed by granulite grade metamorphism (high temperature and pressure) because although this process can produce pyroxene in rocks by the dehydration of amphiboles it will not get rid of other primary minerals (such as plagioclase) that are an important component of amphibole-bearing rocks such as a basalt. Another problem with metamorphism forming the pyroxenite layer is that it cannot readily explain why the Ni-sulfide layer exists. Fractional crystalization on the other hand will result in the early crystallizing of Ni-sulfide as the melt cools, provided that there is an adequate source of sulfur nearby. Having seen what is available on the Nuinsco homepage, IMO there isn't much chance that the mineralization in this prospect is caused by granulite grade metamorphism.
