Donald, have you seen charts bellow?
securitytrader.com.
Any opinions?
BTW have you read book "Market Magic" by L. Yamada? She compares run of Nikkei in 70-80s to current run of the Dow. She makes projection of Dow about 30K by year 2006. (Numbers from my memory could be wrong). Simple math, if you assume 15% return for the next 6 years Dow could be at 23K.
Is she right? We will know in 2007:>)
I'm no bull nor bear, I'm an opportunist.
Thank you for index updates.
Regards, Slava Chechik

Donald, LG: Just as a matter of records, I do not consider either one of you a bear. I know well that you never called for a breakdown. As a matter of fact I was more bearish that either of you back in March , as I recall, so please do not take offense.

Regards,

Jaime

Donald: I have another slant on the static that you gave on your latest index update. I scanned the NDX for all the days since March 97 for days with closing price at 98% of the day's high. Then found that out of 85 occurrences only 3 did not make a higher high the following day. The median point gain of the high is at 15.85. However 37 occurrences had lower close prices, and the median point gain of the close is only 4.15.

Regards,

Jaime
