No talk about NSOL. Why downtrend? How long will it last? Any opinions/discussion?

MCNS makes the NASDAQ as of tomorrow
Steve, care to comment on how you feel about the Medical Web Sites such as Mediconsult.com. With the relative quiet so far and the aging boomers out there there has got to be significant upside in these online businesses. No dought competition will be fierce and R&A's will be plentiful. Will be interesting to watch unfold.

Steve,

Can I get your opinion on Bid.com? They are currently trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, but will be listed on the Nasdaq in a matter of days.

They are a very intriguing auction company. Here is a list of notable items about the company.

1) In the top 5 for auction sites and number 1 in Canada.
2) Currently have a distribution deal with AOL.
3) Have advertising contracts with 24/7 and Rogers Media.
4) Just received a patent for the online Dutch auction.
5) Have an exclusive distribution agreement for the Michael Jordan "Last Shot" sound card.
6) Will be setting up a European auction site this month with Australia identified as the next foreign target.
7) Have been the subject of many takeover rumors over the last couple of weeks. EBAY has been mentioned more than once.

I appreciate any opinions you have on this company.

GG

Steve,
Do you have a feeling on NETA and CHKP, as SCUR and AXNT have warned?

I just read that NETA has also warned, I thought they gave an announcement that they were meeting expectations back in January, but they have been held off by the SEC as it investigates the way they handle in product development costs writeoffs.

CHKP down 27% yesterday, unbelieveable. What do you think?

Thanks,
Ketan

Steve,

I like Gordon Gekko am wondering about Bid.Com (BII.T). I was going to point out all the things he did. He forgot to add however, that BII will be included in the benchmark TSE 300/200 indexes, which will create a lot of buying by index fund managers in the next two wks. The date for inclusion into the TSE300 is Apr16th.

As he stated, we are still waiting for NASDAQ approval expected in the next few days. What do you think will happen to this stock one it hits NASDAQ? As it is not an IPO in the truest form, I doubt that there will be an explosion of growth. On the other hand, I heard that most of the US brokers and fund managers won't touch a stock not listed on the NAZ or DOW.

Any thoughts you have will be appreciated. FYI, BII closed at $19.80 today.

Thanks in advance...

Jason

Hi Steve,
I am a monthly subscriber and daily reader ISR. I would like you to list some of the internet issues that you feel could be overvalued in here. Maybe some of those that have gone along for the ride and appear extended. Thanks for the great analysis.

Curious to know what you thought of Merrill's wholesale bashing of the software industry today, in light of Y2K? PRGN looks interesting at these prices ($25-$26).

Steve. What do you think on Nettaxi?
It's almost doubled in price the past 10 days and is #28 on
the Hot 100 web sites.

Steve, how do you feel about TGLO considering news from the past two days? I have seen several articles stating it was a poor decision to split the stock in double digits and then today announcing 4,000,000 share offering. Why not announce both at the same time? Does this look funny to you? I am considering selling TGLO to buy more XMCM.

Thanks
