Not for anything Mr. Fly, but I don't have the time (beyond the many lengthy posts already on display) to break down the s-1, 10-K and bond indenture along with the bank covenants (which were given to me by a high yield analyst) to prove my position. Iridium did technically default already, that is a fact. Sophistcated investors have studied the financial structure, the indenture and the covenants and have pushed Iridium bonds to 50 cents on the dollar, that is a fact. The CFO sold 35,000 shares of stock (around the high 20's or low 30's) just as he assured analysts that all would be fine, that's a fact. The CFO resigned amid the technical default that he must have known was coming, that's a fact. Iridium needs nearly a billion in new capital over the next 18 months and nobody in their right mind would give it to them unless they were senior to the other debtors, that's a fact. Motorola, the banks and bondholders all have conflicting positions in the event of a restructuring, that's a fact.

Read the documents. Come back and tell me exactly how many warrants that Motorola will begin to recieve in the third quarter every month until Iridium can pay down the guaranteed bank debt? Did I mention the strike price is .01 per share. Is dillution a good thing?

Tell me why the strategic partners would happily market and sell this service if they lose their equity stake to Chase and the bondholders along with Motorola? I don't know what you do, but as an investor, I have seen this type of story play out many times.

Do you really think that the 219 million dollar order is a big deal? A big chunk of it will be for the phones and pagers which Motorola makes the bulk of the profit. The actual service period is over 3 years. This news just allowed the shorts to get more off at higher prices.

As for the problems with their technology, I get paid too much money on that issue to give it away for free. Do you know how many,if any, new Iridium satellite failures there are? Time will tell.

As for Globalstar, they possess none of the fatal flaws of Iridium. It is for that reason, the Loral backing and the demand that I believe does exist that I will go long Globalstar, but not just yet.
