Cheeky Kid -

Ontario Hydro, including Nuclear Reactors were tested, NOTHING happened.

Just because we haven't seen or hear of problems says only that we haven't seen or heard of problems. Nothing more.

Ten years ago I worked near a financial system. Six months after a "small" change, someone in a downstream reporting system finally looked at one of their reports... OOPS!!

Do you know what Blue Sky Laws are? A letter of recision? Selling unregistered stock is considered a big no-no. And it took six months to notice the problem

Last year I cleared up a billing problem in my auto insurance that had been ticking over for 5 years!

There's no question that looking for the "This is IT!!" events is most likely to be highly anticlimatic. In the game of systems, the devil is in the details... many Y2K issues are more apt to be 'death by 10,000 cuts.' not some big-bang event.

Just be patient.
