IMO half the play (maybe more) in these reverse mergers is the "newness" aspect. This, coupled with the usual low float created by the recycling of the shell (say via reverse split), has made these good plays (at least short term).

The real DD determines whether I hold a portion of the new company (as I usually sell at least half if it doubles or if it looks like its topping).

We're not talking about investing in GE. This is true speculation.

See JNOT, GBDI, FDNI, and IRTG for evidence (and these are just recent examples)... look at their performance after announcing RM's.
