US BOND, STCK FUNDS SAW ASSET INFLOW LATEST PERIOD: TRIM TABS

NEW YORK (MktNews) - U.S. bond funds saw inflows at an estimated monthly rate of $4.2 billion in the four days ended Monday, April 5 vs. inflows of $8.6 billion in the three-day period ended March 31, Trim Tabs said.

Equity funds saw net inflows at a monthly rate of $28.3 billion in the latest period compared to inflows at a monthly rate of $2.1 billion in the previous period.

Bond funds had actual net inflows of $400 million in the latest period vs. inflows of $800 million last period.

For the month of March, Trim Tabs estimated inflows into bond funds at $6.7 billion. Actual inflows into bond funds for February were $3.3 billion, as reported by the Investment Company Institute.

Equity funds had actual net inflows of $2.9 billion in the most recent period vs. inflows of $100 million last period.

Trim Tabs estimated equity inflows for the month of March at $20.7 billion. Actual inflows into equity funds for February were $800 million.
