Last couple of days DS was doing most of the buying. I thought the price would come down after they were out of the way. But today, there were different buyers coming into the scene, and the stock went even higher. It seems this run-up has some substance to it.

Kasten Chase Comments On Today's
Stock Trading Activity

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 1999--Kasten
Chase(TSE:KCA - news), at the request of the Toronto Stock
Exchange, commented on today's share trading activity.

The company said that there are no undisclosed corporate developments.

James Leech, vice chairman said, ''We are well along the road to reestablishing our revenue base
following the sale of our largest customer, Dow Jones Markets, in mid-1998. In spite of the setback
caused by that sale, we anticipate that revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 1999 will be within
range of the levels recorded during the same period last year. We are encouraged by the interest we
are attracting from potential customers and industry analysts in our new Web-to-Host connectivity
solution, VersaPath(TM). We expect revenues from this initiative will remain somewhat
unpredictable as this new product line makes inroads into the market.''
