We are in Yugoslavia because it is in the interest of NATO. We aren't in Rwanda because there is no ATO. We aren't in Indonesia and Tibet because there is no longer a SEATO and has never been a CATO (Central Asian Treaty Organization). I'm not really sure I understand your cryptic reference to Waco, but I guess it fits because it ends with an "o".

To blame the genocide of Kosovars on NATO is akin to blaming the acts of a serial killer on the rest of society. The Serbs have proven that they have no inhibitions about genocide and need no excuse to exercise their "god given right" to eradicate their ethnic enemies. I suppose you will also blame NATO for the mass slaughter of Muslims in Srebrenica, Bosnia by saying we forced the Serbs into it by not doing anything to stop them.

Yeah- I'd rather save Tibet than Yugoslavia. I really like the Tibetans. Of course there isn't much to save anymore. And the Chinese have settled ethnic Chinese in Tibet now... I guess it's an ethnic cleansing we are ok with?

<< If you want us to say "Never Again" and mean it, why aren't we also in Rwanda, Indonesia, Tibet, and the dozens of other places where governments are killing their citizens indiscriminately. >>

Some situations, no matter how deplorable, can't be helped. We don't have military alliances in many areas of the world. African nations, for instance, are very unstable and are constant areas of tribal wars and government overthrows. I guess sometimes it depends upon a high level of atrocities, such as what is happening in Kosovo right now.

<< Heck, why weren't we on the other side of Waco? >>

SO, you'd rather be on the side of David Koresh, a religious extremist who was building up a collection of military style illegal weapons. The US spent months begging pleading with him to release the children or to surrender. Koresh finally ended it by killing and burning the same children that the US was trying to save. I hope that you don't follow after Koresh's insane and murderous actions!

<< We knew this would happen if we bombed. We bombed. >>

We knew it would happen regardless of whether we bombed or not. The US and NATO decided to stand against EVIL. The NATO countries decided that they couldn't stand by and watch SLOB Milosabitch plunder, destroy, murder and rape the Kosovo people.

I am very proud of the US and NATO!

Are you proud of SLOBO Milosevic?
