I suppose we could go on forever trying to determine the varying impacts of inertia, willful action, destiny, etc. in influencing the evolution of relationships, and all we would accomplish would be to get you into trouble with the IRS. I do know that in my case willful action is somewhat of a contrarian indicator, meaning that whatever I set out to make happen won't happen. May not be true for anybody else. In fact the whole problem with discussing relationships is that nobody has an objective opinion: every opinion is shaped by experience, and since each of us has a unique base of experience, it is hard to find common ground. Unless we take the radical step of assuming that our opinion is only right for us, and that everyone else's is as right for them. But that would be downright blasphemous.
