Another brick in the wall? "SIEMENS - A Siemens research and development centre in the US has applied for a patent for a new web page authoring technique. This adds voice comments and dynamic text annotations to an existing web page and synchronizes the playback of this extra material through an intranet or over the public internet. Siemens describes the end result as a 'web tour' that will add an extra dimension to page content. According to the company, call centres, e-commerce services, intranet applications and distance learning schemes are all candidates for real-time guided tours with this technology." Sounds a winner!
