I may wait for a lower entry point than that, but you may be right. Since the conversation has moved away from launch risk and financing to wether demand actually exists for satellite mobile phones, the uncertainty level and pressure could stay on into the summer. I have found this thread very informative, I have learned from many of the posts and articles/links that have been posted here. I don't want to fill up the thread with garbage posts about who is right or wrong.

When I first started saying Iridium was going to fail financially, that was not a popular opinion. In fact, it was not a popular opinion into January/Feburay of this year. Not one analysts caved on the stock until it hit the low twenties. The last thing Wall Street wants is an Iridium failure. The wave of venture/investment capital will dry up and with it fat investment banking and advisory fees.

As for Globalstar, they don't have the flaws of Iridium. They do however have to meet demand for their service. I think it is there and I think the low breakeven point for the system is achievable and then exceedable. I don't think the market is as large as either Globalstar or Iridium have claimed. I do believe that it is large enough to make Globalstar a winner a year from now. Good luck to everyone.
