I suspect the reason MTI removed end-users is that they didn't want to make it easy for competitors to learn about their installed base, and do some silver-platter prospecting.

As for the 3600 going for $413k. That is list. If it was competitive, then I suspect they would have offered at least a 40% discount ... and believe me one TB to a company like TI, in a country like taiwan would be competitive ;) BTW TI also has many TB of both EMC and IBM SSA.

Factor in the commissions, and this whole deal added under $50K GP to the bottom line. Big freaking whoop-te-do.
