Hi everyone: More NEWS! And they keep coming and coming...biz.yahoo.com OK fellas, even I need to take a breather here... So I will just highlight a few items here instead of the usual dissection...announced today that top government officials from Indonesia attended a meeting at ProNetLink's New York Headquarters on Friday, April 2. What better way to start off a Webtool when you have top government officials standing behind you? The implication of this news is, IMHO, HUGE !!! Btw, PNL's management went one step ahead; instead of Chamber of Commerce backing the Webtool, they got the government of the country to back it up! My hat off to PNL's management. The company had the honor of receiving H.E. Minister Dr. Zuhal, Indonesia's Minister of State for Technology and Chairman for the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Dr. Dorodjatun Kuntjoro- Jakti, the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Rachmat Ranudiwijaya, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, and Dr. Ian Marceau, U.S. Advisor to Minister Zuhal. OK, let us see here... we have 2 Ministers, 1 Ambassador, 1 Consul General, and 1 U.S. Advisor to Minister. And they all went to the ProNetLink's office to meet with the PNL's management! You are talking about a lot of political power in one room.Minister Zuhal recommended that there should be immediate training seminars for top executives throughout Indonesia to demonstrate to them the power of ProNetLink. Hey, when your government recommends something to you, don't you think you will be curious to find out what it is? I believe we are looking at some pretty good subscriber number coming out just from Indonesia alone. Anyone agrees with me here?A second major initiative recommended by Dr. Zuhal is to organize the young entrepreneurs and students that are, in his opinion, "the next generation of Internet savvy business people". Now, I think it is possible that PNL may exceed their 30,000 subscriber target in their first 12 months. Anyone agrees with me on this one also? Anyone want to guess how many young entrepreneurs and students in Indonesia will like to make some good money in import/export?"I am very impressed with Minister Zuhal's vision of the future of Indonesia and his enthusiasm for embracing new technologies. It's very exciting to see that the concept of ProNetLink is being received at this level around the world," Mr. Zagoren continued. I have a funny feeling that we (the SI long-term investors) are not the only one who share the vision of ProNetLink. Eureka! We are NOT alone! <G>As for Indonesia's recent economic crisis Dr. Ian Marceau commented that Indonesia has been taking aggressive steps to reverse the current situation and all indications are that the economy is ready to start moving forward again. He concluded by saying, "ProNetLink can certainly be part of the solution." OK, so Glenn is not the only one making a bold statement , the U.S. Advisor to Minister Zuhal also said the same thing. In this case, I hope they are right ! Yes, YES, and YES! Ladies and Gentlemen, our baby here, PNLK, is now officially endorsed by the country of Indonesia . Will this gesture encourage other Far-East countries to join the bandwagon as well? And the next stop will be the European? Are we now witnessing the embracing of the Internet technology by the business world? The beginning of a trend that cannot be reversed by any mean. Watch out, the new world is coming! Godspeed to PNLK and everyone! Again, all of of the above is my opinion only! Remember everyone, To Each His Own and Prosperity to ALL!
