I've almost completely given up on the hopes of having a reasonable discussion with you but I'm gonna try one last time.

Why would China not want to build CDMAone networks? Upgrading to 3G will be cheaper than with GSM. Has it not occurred to you that they might actually want CDMA networks quite badly but are pretending that they're doing "us" a favor as negotiation strategy.

These deals are all small. IF these larger CDMA deals that we've heard about are announced, then we'll know that you're in fact wrong, that CDMAone and GSM will coexist in China.

Hopefully we'll get some details soon on what NTT is planning to build, not just who the contractors are slated to be. That'll tell us more about the future also. In the meantime, it's all speculation isn't it?
