Best of Breed Product Vendors Complement 'One-Stop-Shop' Approach to
Managing

A Family's Health

SEATTLE, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- OnHealth Network Company, (Nasdaq:
ONHN), the indispensable Internet resource for people managing their
families' health and their own, today launched its Shopping Channel
adding health-related e-commerce to its top-of-the-line health content.
The channel can be accessed at shopping.onhealth.com.

OnHealth.com launched its Shopping Channel to provide a reliable,
efficient way to buy health-related products from trusted sources and
take advantage of the deep related content OnHealth has to offer. By
using OnHealth's new "Time Saver," feature found in the Shopping
Channel consumers can read about a health subject of interest, chat
about that subject with other OnHealth members, and buy products and
services related to the topic with a click of the mouse.

The new channel launches with four sections: Books, Drugstore, Gifts,
and Vitamins and Herbs, featuring e-commerce providers like Amazon.com,
drugstore.com, ProFlowers, VitaminShoppe, and American Greetings. The
channel offers OnHealth visitors a wide variety of products in a
variety of price ranges.

"OnHealth's core audience of active health consumers are interested in
educating themselves about their current health conditions and
maximizing their good health in the future," said Judy Schneider,
OnHealth's Vice President of Commerce, Community and Personalization.
"Now, our audience can use the information found within OnHealth to
help them make more educated decisions when purchasing products and
services through our Shopping Channel

"Adding e-commerce opportunities to OnHealth's current rich and
trustworthy health content is part of our overall strategy to enable
health consumers to fill all their health needs from one Internet
location," continued Schneider. "Not only can consumers buy health
products and services related to their interests and needs, but they
can also cut errand-running time by doing their regular shopping at
these reliable and comprehensive online stores."

"We chose to forge this relationship with OnHealth because we share
their dedication to empowering patients," said Peter Neupert, President
and CEO of drugstore.com. "Through OnHealth's content and commerce
channels, drugstore.com is able to extend its reach to consumers who
take an active role in managing their own healthcare, which is
particularly important in the current HMO environment."

Future Shopping Channel plans, include additional healthy living store
sections such as healthy foods, fitness, and kids with additional
commerce partners. OnHealth will continue to deepen the level and types
of services they offer based on their audience needs and requests
including special commerce events, customized discounts on health
products, and more time-saving buying opportunities focused on wellness
and health management.
