This indicates a dramatic increase in volume...i.e trading volume that is. This equates to more commissions generated...adds more to the bottom line and thus more to earnings. We all know that the stock price is directly related to earnings growth. I'm still sobbing that I sold this powerhouse back in the 50's a couple of weeks back. But, I wiped my eyes clean this morning, picked myself off the investment floor and bought 50 shares at 87. I agree with Zalesky...sit back, relax and watch the thing run further ahead of earnings...Let's face it they may announce a stock split next week along with blow-out earnings.
