I was wondering the same thing (and also wondering how that could be determined from publicly available sources), and also wondering if the SNIA announcment, without reference to Ancor, has any real meaning, including without limiation whether this means that there was anything different about the Ancor product with respect to standards/interoperability which would isolate Ancor? I could not enter the Amdahl site, but a search for Vixel and switch looked like it would yield hits, with the alternatives (but then access was denied0, Ancor and Brocade, not yielding nothing. A search in the Compq site yielded nothing in response to my primative search. Interesting to me is that in mid to late March ARapport warned on the Yahoo Board about many new announcements which would not help Ancor, but instead would shine the spotlight on Vixel. . . at least in the short term. . . but much has not yet been announced, with strong pressure now for those participating in this market to make their announcements sooner rather than later.
