There is an old term for what is happening----CLIMAX SELLING. I think this will occur this afternoon and then the herds will come back to the PIG.

NW: Are you sure those were block buys? At the opening you get "phantom block buys" which are actually the total of a lot of accumulated small parcels.

Why would you go golfing if CPQ disappoints. The thing to do would be to sell and move on.

The time to buy is when nobody likes it
The trouble is I have joined the ranks of those who don't like it. I started dollar cost averaging into CPQ and have suspended purchaces with 210 shares. I bought 50 shares of AOL last month as a lark and it's worth substantially more. (I don't understand AOL so I'm not likely to buy much more) but I think those dollars will be going to EMC for awhile.
