Investment group question, Colin... I was in an investment group and withdrew my membership in 1998 which is reported on K-1. But I had invested more $$ in the group than I received back but the loss is not shown on the K_I ..where and how do I report this???
Thanks so much...
can't wait until the 15th is here and over.

Here's a question about income tax for trading partnerships. Does trader status apply to partnerships in a way similar to sole proprietors. Does the basic idea of reporting income as capital gains, and expenses as fully deductible business expenses apply to trading partnerships, thereby avoiding self employment tax on the earnings?

Thanks for the help.
