lots of Fidelity Funds made distributions on 4/1/99. If you have distributions reinvested, you should have more shares. If distributions are in cash, look at that amount. You should be able to check this on the fido site by checking account history for each IRA. Whenever there is a dramatic change in NAV, this is almost always the cause. Will help you out here:
personal431.fidelity.com If you check the distributions you will see that Tech made a big distribution, the majority of it a short term cap gain. Ouch, if you are in a taxable account.
