have been looking to buy townhouse/house----they are being bought within a week, most within a couple of days....most are bidded up beyond the asking price......everytime we see something we like, our broker tells us to buy it now or lose the opportunity...and she hasn't been wrong........where the hell are people getting all this money.....many are paying cash for these homes.....-ng-

It's interesting to see people trading one bubble for another...
it always astonishes me to hear about people in bidding wars for million-dollar houses in silly valley so they can send their kids to the public school district..they could retire without a mortgage 50 miles away and send their kids to Swiss boarding school on the cost-of-living difference.
