When you want to attract legitimate financial partners, you don't want them to see a record of high dilution going against the other partners of the past, (public shareholders) exclusively to the advantage of the CEO in the face of horrific economic performance.

It's usually an indicator to a prospective financial partner of what will happen to them if they decide to do business. Not to mention what prospective shareholders will think. You do want more people to buy TSIG's stock, don't you?

It has a chilling effect on the ability of a company to find legitimate sources of capital. Continued dealings with the PP world of last resort financing will only be cause for further concern due to the unknown amount of dilution to be reached in each successive financing event. What Mr. Gordon did was absolutely reckless, no matter how he would choose to characterize it.

Now, if the plan we are all supportive of, attracts legitimate financing in the face of this past, then we have lift-off. Probably unlike our wildest dreams. It will still not forgive Mr. Gordon's egregious grab of money from the shareholders, but at that point I'm sure we'll be somewhat less upset.

Just the same it's an enormous if. A real long shot.

I still think what he did is unforgivable unless he reverses field until we get performance. That gesture would go a long way in mitigating the damage he's done to his image, and help the company attract desirable financial partners.
