From what I understand, yes. I am still investigating myself AOL's motivation for such a purchase and have found a few: Infinity's (CBS owns most of them) morphing into a webcaster, journalism/news assets, TV and internet convergence (tcp/ip over TV).

Personally, I don't see AOL purchasing them for those reasons, at least not yet. However, I definitely see AOL as requiring some webcasting mechanism and content, audio and video and that is my reason for getting interested in this sector. Also, I don't think AOL is the only one shopping.
